NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released video footage Monday seeking the public's help to identify a suspect wanted for smashing a Brooklyn church light fixture into the street last month.
According to police, at approximately 9:35 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 20, the suspect removed an exterior light fixture from Sacred Hearts & St. Stephen Church located at 125 Summit St. in Carroll Gardens.
The suspect then threw the light into the street, damaging it, before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
