NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Sign, sign, everywhere a sign!

A house that's covered with dozens of signs has become the talk of Sheepshead Bay—and of social media—with puzzled neighbors saying a new sign seems to be added every day.

The house on East 15th Street is overrun with more than 75 signs blaring messages like “no parking,” “no trespassing” and “24 hour surveillance.”

“They won’t listen, they won’t talk to you,” one neighbor said of the residents with the signs

One neighbor, Maria, said the signs have become so excessive that the home has turned into a photo op for people.

“It’s the laughing stock,” she said. “We’re all over TikTok and Instagram.”

Neighbors have asked the residents to stop the frenzy, but “they won’t listen, they won’t talk to you,” Maria said.

“This is constant, they have literally covered everything in cameras—that we don’t know if they’re working or not—and signs, just overrun with signs, all over,” she said.

The reason for the plethora of signs remains a mystery. Google Street View images from June 2018 show a single “no parking” sign on the driveway gate. By June 2022, there were more than two dozen “no parking” and “no trespassing” signs along the front gate. Now, two years later, the home is teeming with signs, possibly the result of one too many parking disputes.

Some signs urged visitors to “please ring bell,” but when a 1010 WINS reporter did so, no one answered.
