NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who climbed through a window into a Brooklyn woman’s home, where he sexually assaulted her and stole her pajamas.

The NYPD released images over the weekend of the suspect in what they described as a "sexually motivated burglary" in East New York on the morning of Aug. 30.

The 71-year-old victim was sleeping at her residence at Berriman Street and Liberty Avenue around 2:15 a.m. when the burglar entered through the kitchen window, police said.

Once inside, he choked her and touched her privates, according to police. He then allegedly stole her pajama pants and fled on foot.

The suspect was last seen headed southbound on Atkins Avenue, police said.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where she was listed in stable condition.
