NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police were searching Monday for a slasher who reportedly attacked three victims at random in Brooklyn during a 24-hour period over the weekend.
The NYPD released an image of the male suspect, who they believe slashed a 37-year-old man across the face on a subway train in Flatbush early Saturday morning.
The victim was riding a northbound Q train approaching the Cortelyou Road station at 6:20 a.m. when his attacker walked up and slashed him with a sharp object.
The slasher fled the train at the Cortelyou Road stop before EMS arrived and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
According to the Daily News, the slasher attacked twice more on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Around 9:40 p.m. Saturday, a 53-year-old man was slashed in the face at Foster Avenue and New York Avenue in East Flatbush. Then just before 7 a.m. Sunday, a 56-year-old man was slashed in the face at Newkirk Avenue and New York Avenue.
Those two victims were also hospitalized in stable condition.
