NEWARK (1010 WINS) -- Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band announced Tuesday that they’re returning to the New York City area for a number of shows in 2023, including their first in New Jersey in seven years.

The band posted their 2023 U.S. tour dates, which include a show at the Prudential Center in Newark on April 14. There's no word yet about MetLife Stadium.
Other shows in the area include Madison Square Garden on April 1, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 3 and Long Island’s UBS Arena on April 9 and 11.
The shows are part of the band’s first North American tour since 2016, which was the last time the full band played at MetLife Stadium and the Prudential Center.
Springsteen most recently made a surprise appearance with fellow New Jersey native Jon Bon Jovi during a Paul McCartney concert at MetLife Stadium in June.
Tickets for the 2023 Newark show go on sale via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. on July 29.
But fans will need to register here by July 17 for their chance to get tickets, because Springsteen uses Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan service. Fans who register will get a code that they can use to try to buy tickets on July 29.
