NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man who'd been shot multiple times drove to a Queens police station with a female passenger who'd been fatally shot in the head, the NYPD said Wednesday.

The 39-year-old man pulled up to the 103rd Precinct stationhouse in Jamaica shortly before midnight Tuesday night following the shooting more than two miles away in South Richmond Hill.

He got out of a black Honda sedan and informed cops that he and a 28-year-old woman sitting in the passenger seat had been shot at 127th Street and Liberty Avenue.

The woman, who had a single gunshot wound to the head, was pronounced dead by EMS. She was identified as Clarisa Burgos, of Brooklyn.

The man, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. He was reportedly shot a half-dozen times.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remained unclear Wednesday, including if the victims were the intended targets.

No descriptions of the shooter or shooters have been released as the investigation continues.
