NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Monday released photos of a burglar accused of hiding in the basement of a Brooklyn restaurant and stealing thousands of dollars over the weekend.
According to police, at about midnight on Sunday, Dec. 1, the suspect entered a restaurant located at Kosan Asian Fusion located on Sheepshead Bay Road in Sheepshead Bay and hid in the basement.
Once employees closed the restaurant, the man stole approximately $15,300 from the restaurant and fled through a back exit.
