NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Thursday released surveillance video of a burglar accused of stealing 20 pairs of sneakers and jewelry from a Staten Island home earlier this month.
At approximately 4:35 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, the suspect entered a residential home located on Bay Street near Victory Boulevard in Brighton Heights by climbing through the rear window, officials said.
Once inside, the suspect took twenty pairs of sneakers valued at approximately $2,000 and a white gold chain with a white gold cross medallion valued at approximately $800, authorities said.
The suspect then fled on Victory Boulevard towards Montgomery Avenue.
There were no injuries reported and an investigation is ongoing.
