NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Thieves nabbed shoes and handbags worth $52,000 from the Soho Givenchy store Saturday morning, police said.
Three men and a woman used a hammer to smash the door window of the two-story boutique at 94 Greene St. at 7:30 a.m.
The store security alarm was not activated at the time of the break-in, and the entrance grate was not down, sources told the New York Post.
All three then fled the scene and remain at large, police said.
The store is normally open at 11 a.m., but that start time was reportedly delayed until 3 p.m., an employee told the paper, who added, "Everybody is OK."
