NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 23-year-old NYPD civilian employee was arrested in Staten Island Tuesday for possessing child pornography, authorities said.
A search warrant was issued for Robert Benoit's home where cops found he had child pornography, officials said.
Benoit worked as an NYPD civilian custodial assistant. He was off-duty when the arrest occurred.
He was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child less than 17 and possessing an obscene sexual performance by child.
