NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A construction crane toppled onto a building in Queens on Friday morning, officials said.
No injuries were reported after the crane collapsed onto the building near 35th Street and 36th Avenue in Astoria around 8:30 a.m., police said.
Citizen App video shows the white crane on top of the building as the FDNY responds.
Police said that in addition to no injuries, no major damage was reported.
Construction workers told PIX11 that the crane was loading steel beams at the site of a new apartment building before the collapse.
