NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two NYPD officers who are dating each other were arrested after a domestic violence incident in which they both attacked each other Friday morning, according to police.
Yoheliza Yanez, 34, and her boyfriend Raul Avila, 34, were both arrested in the 102nd precinct around 7:33 a.m., authorities said.
Police would not say the exact location of the arrest, but the 102nd precinct covers Kew Gardens, Richmond Hill and Woodhaven in Queens.
Yanez was charged with assault, while Avila was charged with strangulation and criminal obstruction of breathing.
