NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A man and woman teamed up to beat a man over the head with a glass bottle on a Queens bus earlier this month, and police released surveillance images of the suspects in hope that someone recognizes them.

A 37-year-old man was riding a MTA Q53 bus at about 1:30 p.m. on July 7 when he was approached by the pair of suspects.

As the bus was nearing 101st Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard in Ozone Park, a fight broke out between the suspects and victim.

Police said that the man and woman hit the 37-year-old in the head with a glass bottle multiple times, which caused lacerations to his head and face.
