
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A 43-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer at a Brooklyn intersection Tuesday, according to officials.
According to police, at about 4:25 p.m., the cyclist was riding his bicycle along Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York when a 2013 Freightliner traveling in the same direction, made a right turn on to Linden Boulevard striking the cyclist.

The bicyclist, later identified as Jarrod Little, was ejected to the ground, authorities said.
Little suffered severe head trauma and was rushed by EMS to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the NYPD said.
The 52-year-old tractor-trailer driver remained on the scene and did not face any immediate charges.
An investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad.
