NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A dead man was found lying on the grass at Union Square Park on Wednesday night, police said.
Someone notified police around 11:30 p.m. that there was an unconscious man inside the park.
Responding NYPD officers found him unresponsive and face up on the grass, police said.
EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced dead.
He hasn't yet been identified, police said.
The medical examiner will determine his cause of death.
No arrests were reported Thursday as the investigation continued.
