NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The NYPD is investigating after discovering the decomposed bodies of a man and woman inside her Brooklyn apartment on Wednesday morning.
At approximately 10:19 a.m., police responded to a 911 call for a wellness check at 640 Ditmas Ave. in Kensington.
Upon arrival, officers found a man and a woman unconscious and unresponsive at the location.
EMS pronounced both individuals dead on the scene. Police cannot confirm their ages or how decomposed the bodies were.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The identities of the deceased are pending family notification.
