NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a driver they said struck and critically injured a pizza delivery man on a bike in Manhattan Monday night.
The incident happened just after 6 p.m. at Delancey Street and Columbia Street on the Lower East Side, authorities said.

Officials said 21-year-old Dylan Penalo was driving a Honda Accord westbound on Delancey Street when he struck a bicyclist going southbound on Columbia Street.
The victim, a pizza delivery worker in his 40s, was found unconscious and unresponsive, according to police.
He was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, officials said.
Authorities said that after the collision, the driver of the vehicle fled on foot but he later returned, identified himself, and complained of wrist pain.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition and is in police custody.
Penalo was charged with assault, reckless endangerment, and leaving the scene of an accident with a serious injury.
An investigation remains ongoing.
