NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A DoorDash delivery worker stole a $1,500 package from a Brooklyn man, police said Tuesday as they released images of the suspect.
In a statement, a DoorDash spokesperson said, "There is absolutely no place for this behavior—on DoorDash, in New York City, or anywhere. We have deactivated the Dasher’s account and reached out to the NYPD to support their investigation. We have also reached out to the victim to help make things right."
Surveillance footage shows the alleged thief carrying a pizza down a hallway at an apartment building on 291 Bainbridge St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant around the time of the Feb. 14 theft.

A 43-year-old man who lives in the building told police that the deliveryman grabbed the package from his front door just before 7:30 p.m.
The suspect was last seen headed westbound on Patchen Avenue, allegedly with the package valued at $1,500.
