NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A dirt bike rider was injured Friday night after colliding with an NYPD vehicle in the Bronx, the New York Post reported.
The crash occurred at Bruckner Boulevard and Leggett Avenue in the Woodstock section around 6 p.m. while police were responding to a call for backup for another officer in need of assistance, the NYPD said.
The biker, whose name was not released, was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.
Officials said it was unclear if any police officers were also injured.
