NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Family members of DMX may soon have to decide whether to take the rapper off of life support, according to a report from TMZ.

DMX currently remains in a coma nearly a week after an overdose has yet to regain any brain function.

The "Party Up" rapper had a battery of tests performed on Wednesday, the outlet reported, but there have been no improvement in brain activity shown since he was rushed to White Plains around 11 p.m. Friday.

The rap star had a heart attack at his Westchester home and was taken to a hospital in, his attorney, Murray Richman, told WABC.

He reportedly had little brain function after being deprived of oxygen for nearly half an hour.

It's currently unclear if or when DMX's family will have to make their decision.
