NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A dog bit two NYPD officers in Queens on Friday morning as they responded to a 911 call, sending both to the hospital, police said.
The cops were attacked just after 9 a.m. in Woodside, as they arrived at the scene of a reported assault at Northern Boulevard and Woodside Avenue, according to police.
They both suffered bite wounds and had to be taken to an area hospital, where they were in stable condition.
The dog belongs to one of the people involved in a dispute apparently related to the assault, police said.
It wasn’t immediately clear what happened to the dog or what breed it is.
No arrests were reported as the investigation continued Friday.
