NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for individuals wanted in connection to the dognapping of a Yorkshire Terrier that was stolen from a front lawn in Queens last month, police said Thursday night.
At about 6 p.m. on Sept. 17, two people traveling in a 2014 Subaru Forester stopped near a residential home in the vicinity of 130th Street and 14th Avenue in College Point.
Authorities said that the duo exited the vehicle and approached the home, where one of the suspects dropped down and grabbed the 10-year-old female Yorkie.

They hopped back into the car with the dog and fled westbound on 14th Avenue to parts unknown, police said.
The owner of the dog, valued at $1,200, is a 47-year-old woman.
Photos of the alleged dognappers and the stolen Yorkie were released by police to aid their investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
