NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Former President Donald Trump is set to return to New York City for the first time since leaving office in January.
Sources told the Daily News that Trump would arrive Sunday and stay in the city until Tuesday.
WABC and New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman also confirmed the president's trip, saying it would take place in the next few days.
Security will be ramped up again at Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan for the visit after security was reduced earlier this year, WABC reported.
Trump, a lifelong New Yorker, made Florida his official residence during his presidency. He has been living at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach since he left the White House.
It's unclear if former First Lady Melania Trump will join Trump for the visit.
