NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police arrested a driver who crashed into a police car and several other vehicles in Midtown Tuesday morning.
It happened just before 7 a.m. at Fifth Avenue and East 59th Street.
According to officials, a 45-year-old man did not follow instruction to police intervention then collided with the police vehicle and kept going. The driver then collided with other vehicles ending on East 50th Street and Lexington Avenue.
The man was taken into custody and taken back to midtown north precinct.
There were no injuries reported.
