NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a driver accused of fleeing a traffic stop on Wednesday night and dragging an NYPD officer with him.

It happened at about 10:07 p.m., while an officer was performing a car stop near Ocean Parkway and Avenue X in Sheepshead Bay.

According to officials, during the traffic stop, a 36-year-old man was driving a Honda Pilot fled the location, dragging to officer with him.

The officer suffered minor injuries to his leg.

No arrests have been made and an investigation remains ongoing.
