NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for the driver who struck a pedestrian then scaffolding while attempting to flee in the Bronx Thursday morning, leaving several hurt, authorities said.

It happened just before 11 a.m. at East 149th Street and Courtland Avenue in Mott Haven.

According to police, the vehicle struck a pedestrian while turning onto Courtland Avenue.

While fleeing the scene, the driver lost control and drove into scaffolding, injuring five more people. The driver and passenger both exited the car and fled the scene on foot.

The victims were all rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln with minor injuries, the FDNY said.

No other details were immediately available.
