
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released images of two suspects wanted in an attempted assault with a machete that occurred in Brooklyn last month, authorities said.
At approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, May 8, a 37-year-old woman was standing in front of her residence located in the vicinity of Ridgewood Avenue and Hemlock Street in Cypress Hills when she was approached by the two suspects.
The suspects then engaged the woman in a verbal dispute.
As the dispute escalated, one of the suspects displayed a machete and swung it towards the victim.
The victim was able to flee to safety without being injured.

Both suspects fled the location on a two-wheeled vehicle that was last seen travelling on Ridgewood Avenue towards Crescent Street, cops said.
