NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two women on bikes accused of beating up victims in their 70s in an Upper East Side attack last week.

Just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, in the vicinity of East 79th Street and 5th Avenue, a 75-year-old man, a 72-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman were approached by the two suspects on bicycles.

According to police, the suspects struck the 75-year-old man in his left eye with a closed fist, causing pain and swelling. The women were shoved to the ground resulting in injuries to their bodies.

EMS transported the victims were to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition.

The suspects fled the location on bicycles traveling westbound on East 79th Street.
