NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released photos of two people wanted for allegedly snatching a chain off a 17-year-old girl's neck in Jackson Heights, Queens, and fleeing on an e-bike.
The incident happened at around 6:50 p.m. on Monday, July 20, near 78th Street and Northern Boulevard, authorities said.
According to police, the teen was walking when two unidentified individuals approached her on an e-bike. One of the suspects snatched a chain off her neck, valued at approximately $2,300, officials said.
The pair then fled northbound on 79th Street.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
