NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday released footage of two armed men on a stolen scooter wanted for robbing multiple people on a Brooklyn street last week.
Just before 11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, the two suspects approached an 18-year-old man in the vicinity of 55th Street and 9th Avenue in Borough Park and demanded his scooter while displaying a firearm.
The suspects then struck the victim on the head with the firearm, causing him to sustain bruising to his face.
He refused further medical attention on scene.
Additionally, the suspects then approached a 45-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man at 56th Street and 9th Avenue and stole the woman's purse then fled location on the stolen scooter, officials said.
The woman sustained lacerations to her mouth and leg from the struggle and was transported to Maimonides Medical Center.
