NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men are wanted for allegedly robbing two taxi drivers of their cellphones on the same day last week, authorities said.
On Oct. 20 around 9:40 a.m., a 36-year-old cab driver was called to 707 New Jersey Avenue in East New York. When he arrived, the pair of thieves threatened to shoot him and demanded his cellphones, police said.
The victim gave up his phones while the duo fled the scene, making away with two iPhones valued at about $1,400. No injuries were reported as a result.

About a half an hour later, the men struck again and called another cab driver to the same address. One of the men distracted the 51-year-old driver through the driver’s side window while the other stole the driver’s cell phone from inside the car before fleeing. The value of the stolen phone is about $1,200. No injuries were reported as a result.

The suspects are described as having dark skin complexions and looked to be in their 20s. One of the men was last seen wearing a red hoodie sweater, black vest and black pants. The other was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweater with white lettering on the sleeves and gray jeans.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
