NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Thursday released surveillance footage of two men wanted in connection with a string of robberies targeting women in East New York between late November and early December.

The robberies began on Friday, Nov. 28, at approximately 7:10 p.m. near the intersection of Norwood Avenue and Fulton Street when a 40-year-old woman was approached by the suspects who demanded money before pushing her to the ground.

The suspects took her cellphone and handbag and were last seen entering the Norwood Avenue subway station.

The following evening, Saturday, Nov. 29, the suspects struck twice within an hour. At about 7:10 p.m., a 35-year-old woman was approached from behind near Nichols Avenue and O’Brien Place and robbed of her cellphone and purse.

Just one hour later, at 8:10 p.m., a 43-year-old woman was targeted in front of 168 Hale Ave. According to officials, the suspects pushed the victim to the ground to steal her handbag before fleeing westbound on Fulton Street.

The most recent incident happened on Sunday, Dec. 7, at approximately 8:25 p.m. in the vicinity of Bradford Street and Fulton Street. A 60-year-old woman was confronted by the suspects who demanded money and then shoved her to the pavement to steal her purse, police said. The suspects again fled on foot heading westbound on Fulton Street.
