NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Monday released photos of two suspects sought for slashing a man with knives in Central Park over the weekend.
At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, a 42-year-old man was inside of Central Park within the vicinity of 67 West Drive when the victim was approached by the two suspects who engaged in a verbal dispute, authorities said.
The suspects then proceeded to slash the victim multiple times with knives before they fled the location on foot, westbound on West 66th Street.

The victim was transported by EMS to Mount Sinai West Hospital in stable condition.
