NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police were searching Thursday for one of two drivers who struck and killed a woman near her home in Queens on Christmas night.

Antonina Freycinet, 45, was found critically injured at the intersection of 158th Street and 111th Avenue in South Jamaica around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

She was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Investigators determined she was struck by two drivers—first by the driver of an unknown vehicle who knocked her to the street and then by the driver of a Ford who ran over her while she was on the ground.

A 64-year-old man driving the Ford stopped down the block and remained at the scene, police said. He told cops he didn’t realize he had hit someone and has not been charged as of Thursday.

The driver of the other vehicle had still not been located as the investigation continued Thursday.
