NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The ex-boyfriend of a missing Bronx woman is being questioned after her body was found in Yonkers on Thursday, authorities said.

Pamela Alcantara, 26, was reported missing to police and was last seen at her Morris Avenue residence in Fordham Heights at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday.

Alcantara's body was found near the Palmer Road exit off the northbound side of the Saw Mill River Parkway at the border of Yonkers and the Bronx. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Law enforcement sources told WABC-7 that her body was found stuffed inside a red suitcase.

One person, believed to be Alcantara's ex-boyfriend, is being questioned at the 46th precinct in connection to her death, policed said.

The investigation is ongoing.
