NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — FBI agents conducted a raid Thursday at the Pelham Bay home of a top advisor for Mayor Eric Adams.
The FBI confirmed investigators were at the residential address where public records indicate Winnie Greco lives, but the agency stopped short of confirming it was a raid of her home, in particular.
"The FBI carried out law enforcement activity at that location today," an FBI spokesman told 1010 WINS/WCBS 880, without elaborating on the reason for the activity.

Greco is a prominent fundraiser for Adams and serves as the city's Director of Asian Affairs.
Investigators were spotted removing boxes and bags of materials from the Gillespie Avenue home.
According to an official from the Adams administration, no one from the federal government reached out to the mayor’s office regarding the activity at Greco's home.
The official added that Greco has been placed on leave as of Thursday.
“Our administration will always follow the law, and we always expect all our employees to adhere to the strictest ethical guidelines. As we have repeatedly said, we don’t comment on matters that are under review, but will fully cooperate with any review underway. The mayor has not been accused of any wrongdoing,” a spokesperson for City Hall said.
Greco became the subject of a city Department of Investigation probe in November addressing allegations that she tried to benefit improperly from her role in the mayor’s cabinet.
A federal raid on the home of Brianna Suggs, Adams' former chief fundraiser, in November caused the mayor to return early from meetings in Washington, D.C. as an investigation into his election campaign launched into public view.
The investigation, at least in part, is focused on whether or not Adams colluded with the Turkish government to receive illegal campaign donations.
Four days after the initial raid, investigators seized the mayor’s cellphones and an iPad as he left a Manhattan event.
