NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A fire truck collided with a vehicle, then into the front of a children's clothing store in Brooklyn causing multiple injuries late Sunday, officials said.
According to police, at approximately 11:30 p.m. the FDNY engine collided with a Mercedes at the intersection of Avenue U and East 4th Street in Gravesend.
The fire truck then slammed into the front of Coquette Kids clothing store.
Five firefighters suffered minor injuries and were transported to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn.

The driver of the Mercedes driver was taken to Maimonides Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
Five people were evacuated from the building as precaution, authorities said.
An investigation remains ongoing.
