NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police say a 12-year-old Bronx girl who went missing on Tuesday morning has been found.
Sophia Rodriguez was found safe Wednesday, according to police. Additional details were not immediately provided.
Rodriguez had been last seen in front of the Bronx Delta School at Hollywood and Randall avenues in Throgs Neck at 8 a.m. Tuesday. She lives several blocks away, near Philip and Wilcox avenues, police said Wednesday.
The NYPD had described Rodriguez as 5 feet tall and 105 pounds. She has long brown hair and brown eyes.
Rodriguez was last seen wearing a navy blue polo shirt, beige pants, and black and white sneakers, according to police. She was carrying a camouflage backpack.
