NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – I'll be there for brew!
This year marks 30 years since “Friends” debuted on TV—and General Mills is celebrating the anniversary with a coffee-flavored cereal inspired by the show.
The “Friends” cereal takes inspiration from “Central Perk,” the fictional coffeehouse in Greenwich Village frequented by the cast of the classic 90s sitcom that aired 10 seasons on NBC.
The cereal's flavor—"The One with the Vanilla Bean Latte"—even pays homage to the show, which featured many episodes whose title began, "The One..."

According to General Mills and Warner Bros., who teamed up for the release, the limited-edition product is “a crunchy flaked cereal flavored with hints of coffee and vanilla to create the perfectly comforting, barista-level vanilla bean latte experience – perfect to add some coffee-flavored goodness to your morning or to cozy up on the couch with your own group of besties.”
The back of the cereal box also includes a game that challenges "Friends" fans to "help Ross, Rachel and Chandler get the couch up the stairs in less than 30 turns."
The cereal will be available for $3.99 at Walmart stores nationwide starting in December.
