NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Tuesday released surveillance footage of two out of five men wanted for beating, slashing and robbing a man walking home in the Bronx last week.
It happened at about 12:05 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, in the vicinity of 1420 Bronx River Ave. in Soundview.
According to officials, five suspects in a black Dodge SUV followed a 26-year-old man who was walking home.
The men got out of their vehicle, approached him and began to punch him, authorities said. One of the attackers then slashed him on the right side of the face, removed his cellphone and credit cards and fled in the vehicle.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
