NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who pistol-whipped then shot a teen boy during an argument on a Bronx street over the weekend, authorities said.
Just after 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, the suspect approached a 15-year-old boy and engaged him in a verbal dispute in the rear of 755 Rhinelander Ave. in Little Yemen, officials said
As the disputed escalated, the suspect displayed a firearm, pistol whipped him, and discharged a round at the victim striking him in the groin.
The individual fled eastbound on Rhinelander Ave.
EMS transported the victim to Jacobi Pediatrics in stable condition.
