NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a gunman after a 24-year-old man was struck during a shooting that occurred last week on a Brooklyn street.
At approximately 12:45 an on Thursday, May 20, a 24-year-old man was in the vicinity of 17 Brooklyn Avenue in the Crown Heights neighborhood when an unidentified man discharged a firearm, striking the victim in the left knee, officials said.
The gunman fled the location in a white Dodge Charger eastbound on Atlantic Avenue the NYPD said.
The victim was transported by private means to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
