Carnaval De La Cultura Latina has been held for the past 15 years on Junction Boulevard in Corona, Queens during the first week of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. The Carnaval's goal is to promote the art, music, dance, and great food from Latino cultures for a day of fun for the whole family.
Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Essex Market

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month learning how to make a Puerto Rican National Dish. La Cocina de Loisaida is a monthly in-person cooking class series presented by The Loisaida Center at Essex Market, where longtime Lower East Sider and home chef Maria Bido shares authentic Puerto Rican recipes.
