NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A homeless man was arrested for sexually assaulting a woman on a Queens street in broad daylight over the weekend, authorities said Monday.
Kevin Campos, 28, was charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching and assault, officials said.
The attack happened just before 2 p.m. Saturday near 27th Street and 30th Avenue in Astoria, cops said.
According to police, a 20-year-old woman was walking when she was approached by Campos, who allegedly reached his hand up her shorts, touching her private area.
Campos then pushed the victim against a fence but when the victim fought back, he fled on foot southbound on 27th Street toward 30th Avenue.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
His arraignment at Queens Criminal Court was pending Monday, police said.
