NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A homeless man was arrested and charged with murder on Wednesday in connection with the killing of a Bronx man who was found in an abandoned building last month.

Delroy Dunn, 56, has been charged in connection to the death of 52-year-old Locksley Christie, whose body was found inside the basement of an abandoned home on Briggs Avenue in Bedford Park on Aug. 4.

The victim lived just a few blocked from the building where his body was found.

According to a report from the New York Post, Christie died of blunt force trauma to the head.

The report also noted that Christie was last seen alive on July 29, when he was recorded on surveillance video with Dunn. It’s believed the two were acquaintances.

Authorities did not release a motive for the alleged murder.

Dunn is also facing charges of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

The Post reports that the building where Christie was found had been under a full-vacate and stop-work order since a fire in December 2016.
