NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage on Friday of a hooded suspect wanted for attacking a passenger on a Bronx bus earlier this month.
Just after 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, a 37-year-old woman was aboard a BX39 bus in front of 865 East 241st St. in Wakefield, when she was approached by the suspect, authorities said.
According to officials, a verbal dispute ensued and escalated when the suspect punched the victim in the face.
The suspect fled northbound on East 241st Street.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/ North Central Bronx in stable condition.
