NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man placed a locked box with a gun outside of a Brooklyn FDNY station on Sunday evening, prompting a police response after he claimed it was a bomb, police said.
The unidentified man approached FDNY Engine 290 on Mary Warren Place near Livonia Avenue in Brownsville and placed the locked box on the ground around 6:50 p.m., according to police.
The man then allegedly said, "I think this is a bomb."
