NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly knocked a 67-year-old man to the ground in a bone-breaking attack in Queens last week.
The shirtless suspect was arguing with the victim at 82nd Street and 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights around 6:30 p.m. last Friday when he “became irate,” police said.
He allegedly pushed the victim, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer lacerations to his head, elbows and knees.
The victim also suffered a fractured wrist in the fall, according to cops. He was hospitalized in stable condition.
The suspect fled on foot and was last seen headed eastbound on 34th Avenue, the NYPD said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
