Fans hoping to snag the cards shouldn’t wait. Only 50,000 have been printed, and they'll likely be gone in a New York minute.

The MetroCards are just one way the city is marking the show's 25 years. This Saturday, the Empire State Building will be lit to honor the series, which debuted in September 1999 and portrays the NYPD unit tackling sex crimes.

And last month, Rockefeller Plaza was transformed for two days into Olivia Benson Plaza, an interactive fan experience.
