NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A lawyer for Lauren Pazienza, the Long Island woman accused of fatally shoving an 87-year-old voice coach in Manhattan on March 10, is seeking a new bail trial for the 26-year-old.

A Manhattan judge revoked her $500,000 bail on May 10 on the grounds that she poses a "serious flight risk," and Pazienza has been detained at Rikers ever since.

The most recent court filing argues that a new hearing should be held since Judge Felicia Menin didn't consider alternatives like electronic monitoring or home confinement, according to the New York Post.

Another bail hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.

Prosecutors charged Pazienza with manslaughter and assault.

If convicted, she faces up to 25 years in prison.
